    These are most likely gnome only shortcuts:
    Alt-F10 : Maximize Window
    Alt-F5 : Unmaximize Window

    And if you have a default intrepid setup (some effects), I think super shift up will give you an expose view. (It does on a macbook anyway)

    Err, I meant alt shift up instead of super.
